Introduction
: We are assisting our client, a Japan-based MNC, with a replacement role. The role combines administrative support with HR responsibilities (approximately 30%), assisting the HR Manager and managing the full spectrum of HR functions.
Responsibilities
:
- Support the HR Manager in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits, leave administration, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment activities such as job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate correspondence.
- Assist with employee orientation, training programs, and staff development initiatives, including sourcing and recommending relevant courses.
- Provide confidential HR, administrative, and receptionist support, including database updates, travel arrangements, and company events.
- Manage office administration matters, including inventory control, vendor coordination, office equipment servicing, pantry supplies, and office facilities.
- Handle courier arrangements, document delivery and collection, mail distribution, and perform other ad-hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
:
- Certification in human resources, management or similar.
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in all rounded HR functions or HR generalist role.
- Well-versed in Employment Act 1955 and other HR-related regulations.
- Sound knowledge of labor laws and practices.
- The ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Must be approachable and helpful.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Highly computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good ethical judgment.
