Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Administrator to support our ELV (Extra Low Voltage) projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong AutoCAD skills, excellent documentation capabilities, and a good understanding of project workflows in engineering or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Support the Project Manager in day-to-day coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and scheduling project activities.
  • Maintain project timelines, deliverables, and status reports.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, site arrangements, and documentation submissions.

Documentation & Records Management

  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including technical drawings, transmittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, material submittals, and approvals.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly archived and version controlled.
  • Compile and submit project handover documentation, test reports, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.

AutoCAD & Technical Support

  • Draft, edit, and revise ELV layout drawings as instructed by engineers or project leads.
  • Maintain drawing logs and ensure up-to-date versions are distributed to relevant parties.
  • Assist in the preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams.

Communication & Reporting

  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure documentation and project requirements are aligned.
  • Track procurement status, delivery schedules, and site progress updates.
  • Prepare project progress reports and support compliance documentation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in ELV, M&E, or construction industries. Fresh graduates are encouraged.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
  • Basic technical knowledge of ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarm systems) will be an added advantage.
