Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Event cum Marketing Executive at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall, located at Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. You will play a pivotal role in planning and executing successful events, as well as driving the company's marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing mall events, promotions, and seasonal activities
  • Coordinate with vendors and tenants to ensure smooth event operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and marketing execution
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
  • Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and website content
  • Participate in the strategic planning and development of marketing campaigns and promotional proposals
  • Conduct market research and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams and tenants on joint promotions and sponsorship opportunities
  • Maintain good relationships with customers, tenants, and business partners to enhance mall engagement
  • Handle administrative duties including venue booking, rental collection, and documentation related to events and sponsorships

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, or related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing or event coordination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator are an advantage
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, proactive, and able to multitask
  • Creative and adaptable mindset to respond to changing business needs
  • Proven track record of successful event execution and marketing campaigns
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays during events
