About The Role

We're urgently looking for a Creative Strategist Lead who will take immediate ownership of driving creative advertising campaigns that deliver results. This is not just about making ads—it's about engineering visual stories that convert, iterating quickly on real campaign data, and playing a key role in making TAHAN a leading outdoor brand in the region. What You'll Do

  • Quickly develop, test, and launch innovative ad concepts (static, video, carousel, reels, short-form) across Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Plan creative campaigns aligned with seasonal events, international trends, and regional culture to maximize impact.
  • Use consumer psychology and digital behavior insights to craft compelling messaging and visuals.
  • Collaborate closely with media buyers to interpret campaign data, run A/B tests, and boost ROAS across all platforms.
  • Lead content strategy and creative production for both Malaysian and international markets through research of global trends and competitor analysis.
  • Write creative briefs, co-develop concepts, and stay hands-on with scripting, shooting, and editing content.
  • Manage end-to-end production, coordinating internal and external teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand content on schedule.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance creativity, speed up workflows, and scale content efficiently.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance meticulously.
  • Build and execute a creative testing roadmap to accelerate learning and maximize output quality.
  • Share actionable insights and creative wins with the wider team to enhance future campaigns.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years' experience in creative strategy, content marketing, or e-commerce roles (preferably with direct-to-consumer brands or digital agencies).
  • Proven success running ad campaigns on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and similar platforms.
  • Strong background in content marketing focused on physical products.
  • Experience building campaigns for international audiences beyond Malaysia.
  • Skilled in content production—scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing.
  • Proficient with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut or similar design tools.
  • Comfortable using AI to improve content strategy and production efficiency.
  • Analytical thinker passionate about creative experimentation.
  • Excellent English communication skills, able to tailor messaging across formats and audiences.
  • Bonus: Passion for outdoor or sports equipment.
