About the role

Premier Resources Contractor Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a driven and ambitious Quantity Surveying Intern to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak on a contract basis. As a Quantity Surveying Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects, gaining valuable experience in the field of surveying.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents
  • Participate in site measurements, quantity calculations, and cost analysis
  • Support the procurement and contract administration processes
  • Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of project budgets and expenditures
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

What we're looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with numbers and data
  • Good understanding of construction processes and industry practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using construction-related software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Eager to learn, with a proactive and team-oriented approach
