Responsibilities:

·       Oversee the entire construction process, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.

·       Develop and implement project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, considering factors such as manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

·       Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project plans, designs, and specifications, and provide input on constructability, feasibility, and potential issues.

·       Coordinate and lead project meetings, including pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings, to ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members.

·       Monitor and track project progress, costs, and timelines, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.

·       Manage and resolve construction issues, conflicts, and changes, and ensure proper documentation and communication of such matters to stakeholders.

·       Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, permits, and inspections.

·       Foster a culture of safety on construction sites, promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

·       Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery.

·       Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving measures, and value engineering opportunities.

·       Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.

Requirements:

· Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or equivalent.

· At least 10 years' work experience in the construction industry with direct involvement in managing projects (Especially involving in precast work at site).

· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

· Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

· High level of integrity drives and result oriented.

Working location :

1)     Selangor - Mines 2, Seri Kembangan

2)     Johor - Seelong, Senai

Note: 5.5 days work week

This job is offering a 1 year contract basis.
