Join JINGGUANG PLASTIC PRODUCTS (M) SDN. BHD. as a Purchasing Executive cum Customs & LMW Officer based in Senai Johor. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to take on key responsibilities in coordinating with suppliers, preparing purchasing documentation, and managing customs-related submissions to support smooth production and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and vendors.
  • Select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of items.
  • Maintain and update supplier information and purchasing records.
  • Work closely with production and other departments to ensure timely supply of required materials and services.
  • Prepare and maintain all purchasing-related documentation for internal and audit purposes.
  • Prepare monthly purchasing reports and cost summaries for management review.
  • Handle urgent purchases or deliveries when required.

Customs & LMW Compliance

  • Manage and monitor LMW documentation, including import/export permits, customs forms, and related reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) requirements and LMW license regulations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual LMW reports accurately and on time.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of raw material and finished goods movements as required by Customs.
  • Coordinate with Customs officers during inspections, audits, and stock verifications.
  • Handle applications and renewals of Customs permits, exemptions, and approvals related to LMW operations.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, agents, and government authorities for shipment clearance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all import/export documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Identify and resolve any customs or LMW-related discrepancies promptly.
  • Support management in improving customs and LMW compliance processes.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Candidates with manufacturing or customs/LMW background are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Language: Proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement, or customs/LMW-related functions.
  • Experience in Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Customs import/export procedures and LMW regulations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with standard documentation practices.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license; willing to handle urgent collections or deliveries if required.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice is an advantage.
