In this role, you will be working on the processing of Policy Service requests from customers on a day-to-day basis. You will report to a Team Lead within the Policy Services team and ensure requests received are processed accurately within the service level agreement

Job Description
Shield function comprises:

  • Workflow verification and clearance
  • Refund of excess payments received
  • Issuance of acknowledgement letters
  • Change of payer
  • Termination of policy
  • Processing of change plan request

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Process customer requests under the Shield function in accordance to guidelines, service standards and quality.
  • Ensure that escalation cases are flagged out and work with the team leader towards resolution within the service level agreement.

Experience
Who we are looking for:

  • Degree holder with at least 1-2 years working experience in Health insurance policy servicing, working in the Shield function.

  • Meticulous, able to process requests with accuracy and meet service standards
  • Problem solving skills
  • Hardworking, meticulous and dedicated team player.
  • Willing to work long hours and weekends (if required) to support peak period
  • Good team player with keen eye to details and ability to work under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office
