Business Development Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking Business Development professionals at Junior, Senior, and Manager levels who have a solid understanding of sales processes, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop and sustain long-term client relationships. Experience or expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a strong added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze potential clients, industries, and business opportunities across sectors such as banking, merchants, telecommunications, utilities, and government.
- Develop and execute business development plans and lead generation strategies.
- Engage potential clients through calls, emails, social platforms, and networking or industry events.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive business presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Manage the entire sales process — from initial outreach to deal closure.
- Maintain and monitor a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely progress updates.
- Work closely with marketing, product, operations, and technical teams to align goals and optimize solutions.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and business networking events.
- Provide management with regular progress updates, forecasts, and KPI reports.
- Actively explore and visit potential clients to generate new business leads.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Background or working experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions is a plus.
- Experience in companies offering AI-related products or services is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar capacity.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Well-presented, confident, and possesses a pleasant personality.
- Strong ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
