Job Description

The Assistant Technician supports the After-Sales Technician in performing service and maintenance tasks, handling tools and parts, documenting service activities, and ensuring smooth technical support operations. This position is an entry-level hands-on role suitable for candidates who want to grow in machinery service and support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in installation, servicing, and repair of machinery
  • Handle tools, parts, and equipment setup at workshop or customer sites
  • Document repair jobs, take photos, and update service records
  • Prepare machinery for delivery (inspection, minor setup)
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and tool organization
  • Provide support during training sessions or exhibitions

Job Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
  • 0–2 years of work experience in service, maintenance, or workshop roles
  • Hands-on skills in using tools, measuring instruments, or basic repair
  • Able to lift, carry, and support fieldwork assignments
  • Willing to learn and work under supervision in outdoor or workshop settings
  • Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
