Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the palm oil or agriculture market.
  • Identify new business opportunities with plantations, mills, exporters, and agro-product distributors.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients such as plantation companies, palm oil mills, agro suppliers, and wholesalers.
  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product briefings.
  • Provide customer support, address concerns, and ensure high satisfaction levels.

3. Product Promotion & Technical Support

  • Promote agricultural products such as fertilizers, crop protection chemicals, machinery, and palm oil-related solutions.
  • Work with technical teams to provide product demonstrations, field trials, and training to customers.
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable products based on plantation conditions and crop requirements.

4. Market Analysis & Competitor Monitoring

  • Conduct market research on pricing trends, crop yield performance, and palm oil industry developments.
  • Monitor competitor activities and propose strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Provide insights to management on market opportunities and risks.

5. Distribution Management

  • Manage dealer and distributor networks to ensure product availability and sales coverage.
  • Develop incentive programs and support distributors to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure timely delivery, stock consistency, and customer service through distribution partners.

6. Proposal, Contract & Tender Management

  • Prepare quotations, contracts, commercial proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with clients or government bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

7. Team Leadership (If Applicable)

  • Lead and guide sales executives to achieve team sales targets.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations of sales staff.
  • Encourage teamwork, motivation, and strong customer engagement practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Plantation Management, Biotechnology, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in palm oil, plantation, agriculture products, or agro-chemical industries.
  • Strong understanding of plantation operations, crop cycles, and agriculture practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently to plantations and rural areas.

Preferred Skills & Added Advantages

  • Experience selling fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, or palm oil processing equipment.
  • Strong network within palm oil estates, mills, and agriculture companies.
  • Technical knowledge in crop management, soil nutrition, or sustainability practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret agronomic data or trial results.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM7, RM10,000.00 per month
