Our Client is a Malaysian based engineering solutions provider with a growing footprint in the agricultural sector. With a history of delivering practical tools to the market, the company is now introducing its dedicated Agricultural Solutions division, offering quality products such as harvesting sickles to meet the needs of farmers and industry distributors.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to spearhead our newly established Agricultural Solutions department. The role involves building new client relationships, promoting our range of agricultural tools (Including harvesting sickles), and identifying opportunities within the fertilizer and related agricultural sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell sickles and agricultural tools, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and farmers, providing after-sales support and tailored solutions.

Develop distribution channels in rural and plantation areas, and coordinate product promotions, demonstrations, and awareness campaigns.

Conduct market research, monitor competitors, and recommend strategies to stay competitive.

Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

Experience: 3–5 years in sales, preferably in agriculture, palm oil industry, or related field

Education: No formal education requirement – performance and results are valued over academic qualifications

Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and customer insights

Attributes: Self-motivated, result-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills

Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively, especially to rural and semi-urban regions
