Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify, target, and co-develop new agricultural irrigation business opportunities.
  2. Provide technical support, system design, and consultation for irrigation projects, including layout planning and product selection.
  3. Conduct site visits and assessments to understand on-ground requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
  4. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tenders with accurate technical and commercial details.
  5. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and presentations to negotiation and closing.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, purchasing, business support) and external partners to ensure smooth execution and after-sales support.
  7. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
  8. Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging irrigation technologies.
  9. Maintain updated CRM (C4C) records, track project pipelines, and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Agrotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or technical roles related to agriculture, irrigation, or water management systems.
  • Proven experience in managing agricultural or plantation-based projects is highly advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of irrigation system design (drip, sprinkler, micro, pivot, etc.), pumping systems, filtration units, fertigation, and automation controls.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Commercially driven with a strong sense of customer service and relationship-building.
  • Basic understanding of agronomy and crop water requirements is advantageous
