What You'll Be Doing:
Lead Generation & Business Development
Identify and target new business opportunities (both locally and regionally) through market research, networking, referrals, and partner/distributor channels.
- Engage with existing accounts to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.
Pre-Sales Technical Support
Understand client requirements deeply; translate their technical needs into appropriate product/solution proposals.
- Prepare and deliver demonstrations, technical presentations, proof-of-concepts (POCs) where needed.
- Collaborate with product development / R&D / engineering to tailor or configure offerings.
Quotation & Proposal Management
Produce accurate quotations / techno-commercial proposals including cost estimates, benefits, delivery, terms & conditions.
- Negotiate commercial / technical terms with clients.
After‑Sales & Customer Support
Provide post-sales technical assistance, troubleshooting, installation oversight (if relevant) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collect customer feedback and liaise with engineering /Production teams for improvements or custom modifications.
Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, supply chain, marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment, product readiness, and quality control.
- Coordinate with distributors / partners (if applicable) to extend market reach, provide training, technical backing, and support to them.
Market / Industry Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, new technologies, regulatory changes to keep the product/service offering relevant and competitive.
- Provide input to product roadmaps or feature enhancements based on customer/market insights.
Sales Targets & Reporting
Achieve defined sales / revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, annual) including growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, pipeline status, and deliver regular reports.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers (end users, consultants, contractors, distributors, etc.)
- Act as a trusted advisor, not just supplier – understanding client businesses and ensuring solutions provide real value.
Travel & Customer Visits
Be willing to travel to client sites, trade shows, exhibitions, and meetings both domestically and overseas (if applicable).
What We're Looking For:
- Preferably a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum three years of experience in sales or technical sales, preferably in the agricultural, industrial, or machinery sector
- Strong in technical sales, applications, or similar roles; plus drive to meet targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information for clients
- A proven ability to drive sales growth and establish strong client relationships, and open to social engagements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel oversea to meet clients
