ISQM and Technical Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • To undertake the planning and execution of ISQM control standard procedures in our firm.
  • Performing tests and elaborate towards the current procedures in compliance to ISQM standard procedures practiced by each audit assurance unit.
  • To liase and attend to meeting with audit partners, directors and managers as and when necessary to discuss on job progress and other issues.
  • To expose in continuous study in related ISQM standard updates and relevant development in ISA issued.
  • To lead and guide audit assurance personnel on all relevant ISQM standards as well as new ISA issued.
  • To provide training to all audit assurance personnel on current development of ISQM standards and ISA.
  • To undertake continuous study on new MASB approved accounting standards and other relevant updates from Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A recognised degree in Accountancy and/or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in audit assurance work.
  • Good communications and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Those with experience in using CCH ProSystem fx Engagement audit software and Brasstax will have an added advantage.
