About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our dynamic team at J&T EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. This full-time role is based in Shah Alam, Selangor. As the Human Resources Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various HR functions to support the growth and success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage Daily HR Operations: Oversee attendance, discipline, and workforce allocation to ensure smooth daily operations.
  2. Monitor Manpower Efficiency: Track and improve manpower productivity to meet set targets.
  3. Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage interviews, job offers, salary negotiations, and follow up with candidates until onboarding is complete.
  4. Third-Party Worker Management: Handle payments, invoices, and daily manpower headcount demands with third-party agencies.
  5. Shift Scheduling and Manpower Planning: Coordinate with Operation Supervisors to plan shift schedules, overtime, and manpower deployment.
  6. Handle Grievances and Disciplinary Issues: Resolve conflicts and manage disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  7. Ensure Compliance: Make sure the company adheres to labor laws, internal policies, and HR best practices.
  8. Maintain HR Records: Keep accurate HR records including contracts, permits, and system updates.
  9. Support HR Audits: Assist with HR audits, inspections, and reporting.
  10. Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that improve employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.

What we're looking for

  1. Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in HR or related field.
  3. Experience managing large workforces, especially foreign workers.
  4. Good knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and immigration rules.
  5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  8. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.
