Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Strategy & Ideation
- Develop breakthrough, social-first creative ideas that align with client objectives and engage Gen Z and millennial audiences.
- Translate insights, platform trends, and cultural conversations into creative strategies and campaign concepts.
- Partner with Strategy and Accounts teams to ensure ideas are both creatively strong and business-relevant.
Lead ideation workshops and brainstorming sessions, inspiring both clients and internal teams.
Business Growth & Pitching
Lead creative development for new business pitches, delivering compelling narratives that win client confidence.
- Collaborate with Business Development to craft pitch decks, proposals, and creative treatments.
Represent the creative vision in client presentations, ensuring alignment with brand needs and agency strengths.
Revenue & Leadership Impact
Drive creative excellence that translates into measurable business growth and revenue generation.
- Partner with leadership to identify new creative products, services, and monetisation opportunities.
Balance creative ambition with commercial impact, ensuring campaigns resonate culturally while delivering ROI.
Leadership & Creative Culture
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, writers, and content creators.
- Establish and maintain a creative culture that values originality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular feedback, training, and support to elevate the team's creative capabilities.
Be a visible creative ambassador internally and externally.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Present creative concepts and campaign strategies to clients in a clear, persuasive, and engaging way.
- Build strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted partner in creative problem-solving.
Work closely with senior leadership to align on creative vision and growth.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
Stay ahead of emerging social media formats, creator trends, and platform algorithms.
- Experiment with new formats (short-form video, memes, interactive campaigns, AR/VR) to keep the agency at the cutting edge.
- Contribute to thought leadership by producing internal trend reports, creative playbooks, or POVs for clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years in a creative, content, or digital agency environment, with at least 4 years in senior leadership driving teams and creative output.
- Strong mastery of social platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube, with a pulse on emerging formats and innovations.
- Deep understanding of social content, particularly short-form video, memes, and culturally relevant formats that shape Gen Z and millennial conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to craft creative strategies that push boundaries while delivering measurable business impact.
- Proven experience leading creative teams, managing stakeholders, and driving campaigns from ideation to execution.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to sell bold ideas and influence decision-makers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Exposure to branded video content, creator collaborations, influencer marketing, or social commerce is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable thriving in a hybrid work setup and fast-paced, ever-evolving agency environment.
