Responsibilities:
1. Compensation & Benefits
- Develop and maintain a regional approach to compensation that aligns with business goals and remains competitive in the market.
- Review and enhance reward initiatives to support performance, employee retention, and the development of critical capabilities as the organisation grows.
- Oversee the annual salary review cycle, including budget planning, guideline development, and calibration with leadership teams.
- Carry out market benchmarking, job assessments, pay structure reviews, and analysis of internal equity issues.
- Manage a range of incentive plans and variable pay arrangements.
- Review compensation for senior roles and recommend alignment across the region where appropriate.
- Maintain job families, career pathways, and grading structures, ensuring HR teams and business leaders understand how to apply them effectively.
- Lead the design and administration of benefits such as medical coverage, insurance, wellness initiatives, leave schemes, and other statutory entitlements across multiple countries.
- Work closely with insurance brokers and external partners to negotiate competitive benefit plans.
- Support the alignment of benefits across different markets and ensure governance standards are met.
- Track benefit utilisation and overall cost to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review policies and support updates to employee handbooks, including travel and allowance guidelines, flexible benefits, and claims processes, ensuring consistency across regions where feasible.
2. Global Mobility
- Develop and manage policies for various international assignment types, including short-term, long-term, and business travel arrangements.
- Manage the full cycle for expatriates, including package design, cost planning, immigration and work pass coordination, relocation support, housing and schooling arrangements, and compliance with tax and social security requirements.
- Provide guidance to leaders on cross-border moves, localisation considerations, and mobility-related decisions.
- Oversee relationships with external partners such as relocation vendors, tax advisors, and immigration consultants.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with HR teams in each country to roll out reward and mobility initiatives tailored to local needs.
- Present proposals and insights to senior leadership and support people-related aspects of business expansion into new markets.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for compensation, benefits, and mobility topics across the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or another related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in rewards and global mobility, including at least two years in a regional or leadership capacity.
- Background in industries such as F&B, retail, FMCG, or fast-growing multi-market environments is preferred.
- Experience in consulting or professional services is an advantage.
