Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage MY PO processing and maintenance and non-trade purchase.
  • Source and procure machinery, equipment, spare parts, consumables, subcontracted services, and other materials required for manufacturing plant operations in a timely and cost-effective.
  • Source the potential suppliers, and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Study and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local and regional vendors.
  • Work closely with the Sales team and Sales and Support team for an effective and smooth shipping and purchase processes.
  • Liaise with forwarder and warehouse for Inbound delivery arrangement.
  • Liaise with marketing on stock arrangement.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in shipping or logistics industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay and Mandarin.
  • Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin will be preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
