We are looking for a Business Development Engineer to grow Cytron's industrial business segment. This role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, building strong partnerships, increasing sales, and delivering suitable Cytron solutions to industrial customers. You'll play a key role in turning technical capabilities into business results and driving the company's overall market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities, leads, and RFQs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Represent Cytron at exhibitions, workshops, and customer visits.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Understand customer technical needs and recommend suitable Cytron hardware solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure project feasibility and delivery.
  • Gather market and competitor insights to support product and business planning.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities to convert opportunities into sales.
  • Moderate technical knowledge of IoT, electronics, and industrial systems.
  • Familiarity with Raspberry Pi, embedded systems, industrial networking, and control systems.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Proactive team player with strong initiative and follow-up discipline.
  • Knowledge of OT systems such as PLCs and SCADA integration is an advantage.
  • Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, or industrial automation customers is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel locally or regionally for customer visits, exhibitions, and project discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong interest in IoT, Industry 4.0, and AI technologies.
  • Proactive, responsible, and result-oriented personality.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally required to visit customer sites, exhibitions, or training venues.
  • May need to carry demo units or hardware kits (typically below 10 kg).
  • Involves some hands-on work (setup, wiring, troubleshooting) that may require bending or light lifting.
