We are looking for a:
Head of Business Development (Malaysia)
Lead the sales team and commercial strategy to drive value, sustainable and profitable growth for our brands in Malaysia.
The main responsibilities include:
•Support the GM in managing customers and drive the business to deliver budget targets for key financial metrics, optimizing channels mix to continue to develop a more client centric model.
•Lead the commercial team and support marketing team to implement strategy and develop brands with relevance in the right channels and towards the right target audience.
•Set targets & KPIs for the commercial team, analyze sales and proactively recommend actions plans to be implemented.
•Develop relationships with customers, private clients, key accounts…to raise awareness, consideration and build advocacy for our brands.
•Drive value, by continuously optimizing channel and product mix, value chains and commercial agreements (customers margins, trade offers, rebates and incentives).
•Identify, attract and develop talents to develop commercial excellence and set the team up for long term success.
•Lead by example, represent the company and be an ambassador of the group values.
PROFILE:
•Master degree, Business school, MBA
•Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales in the wine-beer and/or spirits business.
•Results & KPI oriented, self-starter and entrepreneurial.
•Strong Presentation, negotiation, and persuasive sales skills
•Trustworthy, unquestionable reputation, affinity with company ethos and values
•(value) growth mindset: capacity to challenge himself/herself and develop within the group.
•Office pack especially excel and PowerPoint
•Strong leadership ability
•Proven entrepreneur and commercial skills
•Proven track record of managing a team & drive revenue through different channels.
•Strong networking/social ability
Nice-to-have experience:
•Malaysian market and Knowledge of Southeast Asian W&S environment
•Multichannel management : Duty Paid, duty free, direct sales, if experience of off trade and e-tail.
•P&L management and Trade marketing
•Industrial experience in FMCG, Luxury goods, fashion (wholesales and retail).
