Job Title: Development Manager

Location: Petaling Jaya (PJ), Selangor

Industry: Real Estate / Property Development

Salary Range: RM10,000 – RM12,000

Summary:

The Development Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for managing real estate development projects from inception to completion. The role involves comprehensive oversight of project planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, government liaison, and ensuring timely and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property development, particularly in mixed-use or commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and manage the full lifecycle of real estate development projects to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, financial modelling, and risk assessments for proposed developments.

  • Coordinate and supervise consultants, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

  • Liaise with relevant government agencies and local authorities to secure development approvals and permits.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, cash flows, and progress reports.

  • Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

  • Provide strategic input and regular project updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in property development, with proven exposure to mixed-use, commercial, or large-scale projects.

  • Strong understanding of development planning, local authority processes, and property market dynamics.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10, RM12,000.00 per month
