Job description:

  1. Site Inspection and Reporting

  2. Conduct preliminary inspections at potential construction sites.

  3. Gather data and write site reports

  4. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

  6. Collaboration and Coordination

  7. Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, crews, and consultants.

  8. Coordinate joint measurement activities.
  9. Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors for work arrangement and forward planning.

  10. Organize and participate in meetings with contractors at regular intervals.

  11. Technical Advice and Problem Solving

  12. Provide technical advice and diagnose technical difficulties.

  13. Solve problems encountered at the site as soundly and promptly as possible

  14. Project Planning and Progress Monitoring

  15. Assist in work arrangement on site, especially planning the project sequences and coordinating all phases of the project.

  16. Monitor and update work progress, take necessary action to expedite the work.
  17. Follow through project on the scheduled timeline, sequences and coordinates all phases of the project.
  18. Liaising with the client and local authorities to understand the needs and requirements.
  19. To assist in monitoring the site activities to ensure the outcome of the products are fulfilled requirements.
  20. To assist in supervises the project schedule and also the development and the requisite on-site material flow.

  21. To ensure the goals, policies and procedures for the project are achieved from time to time

  22. Documentation and Reporting

  23. Complete and submit meeting minutes and progress reports for projects.

  24. Produce various reports as required.
  25. Assisting in the Production of the Monthly Claim.

Job requirements:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have 1-2 years of working experience in a construction site, preferably in infrastructure/earthworks industry.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel to outstations if required.

Role details:

Contract period:
2 years (renewable based on experience)

Working hours:
Monday - Friday (8 AM-5 PM), Saturday (8 AM-1 PM)
