Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our growing team at Hi-Tech Instruments Sdn Bhd in Bandar Bukit Puchong, Selangor. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our range of high-tech instrumentation products. This is a full-time position that will allow you to leverage your field engineering expertise to ensure our customers receive exceptional service and support.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting on-site inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of our specialised instruments
2. Providing technical advice and solutions to customers to resolve operational issues
3. Performing scheduled maintenance and calibration services to keep equipment running optimally
4. Documenting all service activities and maintaining detailed records
5. Collaborating with the sales and product teams to enhance customer experience
6. Providing training to customers on the proper use and care of our instruments
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest product developments and industry trends

What we're looking for

1. Degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
2. Minimum 1 - 2 years relevant working experiences in similar field
3. Fresh graduate is welcome to apply as training will be provided.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong technical aptitude
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics and blueprints
6. Effective communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients
7. A valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
