Sales Engineer

About the role

As a Sales Engineer at Hi-Tech Instruments Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our cutting-edge products to customers across the region. This full-time role is based in Bandar Bukit Puchong, Selangor, and will see you working closely with our existing client base as well as expanding our customer network.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing sales strategy in-line with specific market segment requirement
2. Delivering and sustaining sales target against agreed sales target
3. Prospecting new opportunities to expand existing client portfolio
4. Qualifying new leads to support sales funnel and future sales
5. Maintaining satisfactory working relationships with clients, suppliers, in-house service and application teams
6. Deep understanding of client's application requirement, business model and be part of the solution
7. Penetrating key corporate accounts and communicating market intelligence and field concerns back to business
8. Generating professional proposal, value propositions in high-quality instrumentation presentation and solution in-line with client's requirements
9. Maintaining accurate forecast and management of leads, projects and sales
10. Maintaining open communication with management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum tertiary requirement: Diploma or Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent
2. 1 to 2 years sales experience is preferred
3. Fresh graduate is welcome to apply as training will be provided
4. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
5. Able to handle multitask and work independently
6. Willingness to travel to outstation or oversea customer sites
