Job Title: Sales Engineer – Data Center Projects

Location: Kuala Lumpur / Selangor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support our Data Center project division, responsible for tender preparation, cost estimation, and client coordination.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in tendering or quantity surveying, and holds a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support tendering activities for Data Center and M&E-related projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for bidding purposes.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and project teams.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to gather pricing and technical inputs.
  • Conduct site visits or meetings as required to understand project requirements.
  • Assist in project cost tracking and value engineering discussions.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 3–4 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in tendering or quantity surveying roles.
  • Strong understanding of project drawings, tender documents, and cost structures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other documentation tools.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in Data Center and Telecommunications projects is an advantage.
  • Language diversity (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin) is an added advantage.
