We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Chef De Partie – Pastry & Bakery who will play a critical role in elevating our pastry standards and driving innovation in our offerings. This role requires someone who is creative, hands-on, and capable of leading a section with confidence while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Assist to oversee daily operations within the Pastry & Bakery section, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.

2) Prepare, produce, and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, bread, and baked products according to recipes and brand standards.

3)  Assist in menu development, seasonal creations, and continuous improvement of products.

4) Supervise and provide guidance to junior chefs, commis, and trainees within the pastry section to ensure smooth workflow.

5) Maintain proper stock control, including monitoring inventory levels, minimizing wastage, and ensuring timely requisition of supplies.

6) Ensure all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards are strictly adhered to in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

7) Collaborate effectively with other kitchen sections to support overall kitchen operations and service excellence.

8) Participate in training, development activities, and performance evaluations for pastry team members.

Requirements:

1) Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pastry and bakery.

2) Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, dessert plating, and creative pastry development.

3) Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a positive working environment.

4) Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle high-volume operations while maintaining quality.

5) Strong attention to detail and passion for producing high-quality pastry and bakery items.
