Main Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and offer appropriate technical solutions.
  • Deliver detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Assist the sales team in qualifying leads based on technical feasibility.

Solution Development

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical challenges and design custom solutions using Yokogawa products.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and customer service teams to ensure solutions align with customer expectations and technical viability.

Product Expertise

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Yokogawa products and their applications across various industries.
  • Stay updated on new developments, product advancements, and industry trends to better address customer needs.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Address customer technical concerns and provide ongoing support.
  • Handle sales inquiries, follow up on sales quotations, and negotiate terms of sale.
  • Manage corrective actions during warranty periods as needed.

Proposal and Documentation

  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including cost estimates, product specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Review and draft contracts to ensure technical aspects are clearly defined and meet customer requirements.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer needs and industry trends to support product improvements and innovations.

Post-Sales Support

  • Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance during and after product implementation.
  • Conduct product training sessions for customers to ensure effective usage of Yokogawa products

Other Activities

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards, along with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • A Degree or Diploma in any discipline of Engineering
  • Experience in making training presentation for customers
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to perform under pressure.
  • Integrity and trustworthiness to ensure full compliance with company ethics
  • Strong believer of team work with skills of influencing
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively
