You'll be the person who actually understands what clients
need
—not what they think they need.
Most businesses know they should "do digital." They just don't know how. Which channels? What budget? What actually works for
them
? That's the gap you fill.
Your job: Talk to clients, figure out their real problem, recommend the right mix of digital (Google Ads, social, marketplace, search—whatever fits), collaborate with our specialists to build the strategy and budgets, and close the deal.
You're not just selling ad spend. You're solving problems strategically. And you're thinking ahead about where digital is going—including AI.
What You'll Actually Do
Discovery & Diagnosis
- Listen to clients. Figure out what's actually broken (not what they assume is broken)
- Map their business, their market, their competition
- Ask the right questions to understand which channels matter to them
Strategic Thinking
- Recommend the right mix of channels (SEM, social, marketplace, or a combination)
- Think about sequencing—what comes first, what's long-term, what's quick wins
- Work with our specialists to build budgets that make sense (not just big numbers)
- Defend every recommendation with logic
Selling the Solution
- Present strategy in language clients actually understand
- Own the full sales cycle—from discovery through close
- Build trust by showing you actually get their business
- Manage the relationship post-sale (or hand off smoothly if the team grows)
Staying Sharp
- Develop your own point of view on what works in digital
- Stay ahead of trends—where is search going? Where is AI heading?
- Contribute ideas to how 3thirds evolves
- Eventually bring clients into emerging opportunities (like AI Optimisation)
Commission-Based Reality
- Your earnings are tied to the budgets you bring in
- This means you're incentivised to recommend
right
solutions, not inflated ones - You have real skin in the game
What You Need
Essential
- 2–3 years in digital marketing sales, SEM, social ads, or similar (more is great)
- Real experience managing ad budgets (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
- You understand how different channels work and
when to use them - Ability to think strategically—diagnose problems, don't just throw solutions at them
- Strong communicator (explain complexity simply, no jargon)
- Comfortable working with specialists and technical teams
- Track record of closing deals and owning the full sales cycle
Bonus
- Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B clients
- Familiarity with marketplace platforms (Shopee, Lazada, etc.)
- You're tracking what's happening in search and AI
- Portfolio or case studies showing strategic thinking (not just ad spend)

Remote, flexible.

The Application Process
This isn't a standard job application.
Step 1:

- Tell us about a client win you're proud of—what was the challenge and how did you solve it?
- Why does 3thirds interest you?
Step 2:
We'll send you a screening task (~8 mins to read, 15–20 mins to complete). This is where we see how you actually think:
- You'll get a realistic client scenario
- You'll diagnose what they need
- You'll recommend a strategy (channels, sequencing, reasoning)
- You'll defend your thinking
No templates. No generic answers. We want to see strategic thinking.
Step 3:
If you nail the task, we'll have a proper conversation. Probably with the sales director. Maybe work through a real scenario together.
