Job Summary:
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales activities, client relationship management, and strategic business development. This role focuses on maximizing room, banquet, and catering sales by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
· Identify, solicit, and secure new corporate, leisure, and group business.
· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
· Maintain an active pipeline of potential accounts and conversion tracking.
· Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and trade show (Local & International).
Account Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, event planners, and corporate partners.
· Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
· Respond promptly to client inquiries, ensuring excellent service delivery.
Market Analysis & Strategy
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
· Analyse performance data (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR) and recommend sales tactics accordingly.
· Participate in pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies with the revenue and marketing teams.
Event & Group Sales
· Coordinate with the F&B and operations teams for seamless execution of events and group bookings.
· Negotiate contracts and ensure all terms and conditions are met.
Reporting & Administration
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
· Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.
· Attend internal and external meetings, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
· Proficiency in hotel CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
