The team you will be part of
The Brand Management Team is the trusted partner for leading brands across Southeast Asia in strategic planning and driving sustainable online business growth. By analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and aligning with our clients' commercial objectives, the team develops and executes data-backed strategies that maximize conversion and revenue. With a strong grasp of category dynamics and platform trends, and driving collaboration and coordination across other functions internally, Brand Management plays a key role in shaping long-term brand success in the digital commerce space.
The part you will play
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the ecommerce business of one or multiple brands across all ecommerce platforms in Malaysia. As the brand's main point of contact and trusted advisor, you create the ecommerce strategy and annual plans for your brands and take ownership of their business like it is yours. You negotiate with brand and platform stakeholders to maximize the attractiveness of propositions for consumers and exposure for the brand, in order to grow the business. You have a firm grasp of e-commerce fundamentals, digital marketing, campaign development and the growth levers that the different marketplaces offer. You coordinate with our different in-house teams and ensure that collectively you make your brand(s) successful. You are responsible for account NMV and revenue growth and work closely with the business development team to explore how your brands can benefit from additional services.
As a Key Account Manager, you will take charge of:
E-Commerce Store Management
- Oversee the brand's direct-to-consumer online store, ensuring all product listings, pricing, and visual assets are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand standards. Maintain and optimize the Shopify platform — including site functionality, UX, collections, and product catalog structure. Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth store operations, timely site updates, and a seamless online shopping experience.
Commercial and Campaign Execution
- Act as the primary point of contact responsible for driving the online business commercially, ensuring monthly and quarterly sales targets are achieved. Plan and execute online campaigns and seasonal activations aligned with brand and marketing objectives (e.g., key retail moments and product launches) Partner with digital media teams to align performance marketing, paid media, and CRM efforts with e-commerce goals — ensuring consistent messaging and optimal ROI across channels.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance metrics like traffic, sales volume, and conversion rates through Shopify dashboards, and other tools. Evaluate key e-commerce metrics such as traffic sources, conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate, ROAS, and customer acquisition cost. Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Weekly and monthly sales reporting with stakeholders
Inventory and Order Management
- Partner with logistics and operations teams to ensure accurate stock levels, product availability, and efficient order fulfilment. Monitor inventory flow to minimize out-of-stock or overstock situations while maintaining an optimal customer experience' Oversee order fulfilment processes, ensuring timely delivery by liaising with warehouses and logistics providers when needed
Competitive Analysis and Market Research
- Stay updated on emerging e-commerce trends, new web functionalities and adapt strategies to align with evolving consumer behaviors. Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors' online presence, pricing, and promotional activities
Brand & Stakeholder Management
- Data reporting and presentation to key stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, retail, operations, and finance teams to ensure e-commerce initiatives are fully aligned with overall business priorities. Build the optimal price, promotion and assortment strategy of the brand
What we are looking for - the ideal profile:
- 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce, e-commerce or digital retail, ideally managing a direct-to-consumer brand store )
- Understanding of Shopify (or equivalent CMS), Google Analytics, and key e-commerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, retention, ROAS)
- High sense of ownership and accountability — takes initiative to manage, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the online store's performance.
- Experience collaborating with digital media or performance marketing teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Shopify is a plus
