Presales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify, qualify, and develop cybersecurity business opportunities.
- Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, translating them into tailored security solutions.
- Design and propose comprehensive cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains, including network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, SOC, IAM, DLP, and SIEM.
- Prepare and deliver impactful technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase solution value.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs, and develop solution proposals, BOMs, and detailed technical documentation.
- Act as a trusted security advisor, communicating complex cybersecurity concepts in a clear, business-oriented manner.
- Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, ensuring continuous learning and solution innovation.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure technical accuracy, compatibility, and compliance of proposed solutions.
- Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, workshops, and industry events by providing technical expertise and demonstrations.
- Provide feedback to internal product and engineering teams regarding market insights and evolving customer requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or consulting, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains — network, application, cloud, and data security, as well as threat intelligence and compliance.
- Familiar with leading security technologies and vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, Splunk, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, etc.
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PDPA.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Strong solution design and documentation capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or relevant vendor-specific credentials are an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
