Job Type: Full time

Salary range: RM4,000 - RM6,000 (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify cybersecurity opportunities.

  • Engage with clients to gather technical and business requirements.

  • Design and propose cybersecurity solutions (e.g., network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, SOC, IAM, DLP, SIEM).

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).

  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and develop solution proposals, BOMs, and technical documentation.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, explaining complex security concepts in clear business terms.

  • Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, technologies, and vendors.

  • Liaise with vendor/partner technical teams to ensure solution accuracy and compliance.

  • Support marketing activities such as webinars, workshops, and events with technical expertise.

  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on customer requirements and market trends.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in presales, solution architecture, or consulting within cybersecurity.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains (network, application, cloud, data security, threat intelligence, compliance).

  • Familiarity with solutions/vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, Splunk, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, etc.

  • Good understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PDPA, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (technical & business audiences).

  • Ability to design solution architectures and produce technical documentation.

  • Relevant certifications are an added advantage (Azure, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, vendor-specific certs).
