About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Admin Assistant to join our team at EUROASIA INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SERVICES (M) SDN BHD in Permatang Tinggi, Penang. This full-time position is crucial in supporting the smooth running of our office operations and assisting our management team.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collect, verify and process the drivers claims
  2. Calculate wages and other payroll-related adjustments and ensure the accuracy of the process
  3. Maintain confidential drivers claims and payroll records and respond to their inquiries regarding salary, deductions, etc
  4. Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible
  5. Assisting with the coordination of office events, and other logistics
  6. Providing general administrative support as required, and other ad-hoc tasks

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  3. Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and also e-mails
  5. Basic knowledge of labor laws and statutory requirements
  6. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
