Job Description

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, sales, receipts, and payments and ensure accuracy and up-to-date ledgers and accounting records.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Manage month-end closing process and ensure all month-end journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly.
  • Preparation of profit computation, cashflows, financial report reports and other related schedules Assist in the development of annual budgets and cashflows and track budgetary performance against actual results and provide variance analysis.
  • Prepare tax computation including calculation of deferred taxation.
  • Handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings.
  • Manage annual Budget & Forecast.
  • Coordinate the provision Information to external auditor for the annual audit.
  • Monitor debt level and compliance with debt covenant.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in related field.
  • Hands-on experience in handling full set accounts and familiar with financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Malaysia income tax regulations.
  • Experience in the property or construction industry is an added advantage.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and a proactive work attitude.
