Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the company inventory level to an optimum level, to ensure Company KPI (delivery performance, stock holding, inventory week etc) is achieved at targeted level.
  • Actively review Company's inventory level – safety level, obsolesce, by adopting the assigned tools – ERP-JDE, PowerBI, CRM, IQM etc and recommend the adequate ordering and stocking level
  • Ensure the ordering process with the supply company or external parties is effectively managed.
  • Ensure our products in stock are operated on a first in-first-out delivery basis and that products are properly stored for ease of collection.
  • Ensure the Company's stock accuracy with adequate cycle count, stock count activities.

Warehousing & Distribution

  • Responsible for effective planning, coordination, and execution of warehouse & distribution workflow.
  • Review and evaluate work processes, utilization of resources to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintaining optimum utilization of space and reviewing methods of material handling to improve productivity.
  • Review and ensure the adequate level of equipment, tooling, consumable supplies used in the warehouse are maintained or replenished.
  • Review and recommend the rightful external parties are engaged to support Company distribution activities (transporter, forwarding agent, etc)

Administrative & Office Support/ CS

  • Ensure office administration support is well managed.
  • Ensure HQ office is well maintained, engaged with maintenance contractor, cleaner, landlord.
  • Sales Support / Customer Service
  • Responsible for effective process to handle customer enquiries, quotation, order intake, in an organized and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Strongly IT literate – MS packages
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a leader with direct experience of managing more than one operation segment
  • Experience in manufacturing-based company is an advantage
  • Proven track records in solving warehouse & distribution challenges.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • Strategic thinking and being hands on at the same time.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and manage stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Experience of working to and achieving targets.
  • Demonstrate drive and tenacity.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo and undertake tough decisions where required.
  • Ability to travel.
