We are a diversified group with businesses spanning investment banking, proprietary trading, F&B, and other ventures across Asia. With offices already established in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.—and further expansion in the pipeline—we are seeking a highly capable Regional HR Manager to drive and oversee human resources strategies across the region.
Role Summary
The Regional HR Manager will develop and execute HR policies, programs, and practices that support the company's growth and multi-industry operations. This role requires a strong understanding of cross-border HR management, compliance with regional labor laws, and the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership across business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions regionally, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, and training & development.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all jurisdictions.
- Manage HR operations and systems, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and data accuracy across all offices.
- Supervise payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide strategic HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead regional and country-level recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Manage expatriate and local employment matters, including mobility, relocation, and work pass administration.
- Promote a positive workplace culture that supports diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.
- Act as the key liaison with external HR service providers, regulators, and government agencies across all jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or professional HR certification preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including regional or multi-country exposure in Asia.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices, experience with Singapore MOM regulations is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive HR initiatives across multiple regions.
- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at senior levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed for regional oversight.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required ; additional Asian languages are a plus.
