Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, cash flow, payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, PCB).

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).

  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities (e.g., LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF).

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as corporate tax, SST, Companies Act and Employment Act 1955.

  • Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures.

  • Support management in financial analysis, business planning, and risk management.

  • Oversee end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal, training, employee engagement initiatives and offboarding.

  • To handle disciplinary/grievance matters.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, labour legislation, and statutory compliance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong Communication, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting/HR software.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
