KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To oversee the company's full set of accounts, ensure accuracy of financial reporting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Senior Account Executive supports management with financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.

KEY RESPONBILITIES

· Prepare and maintain full set of accounts including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Bank Reconciliation.

· Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

· Handle month-end closing activities such as journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

· Prepare management reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

· Assist with year-end audit schedules and liaise with auditors.

· Prepare financial and variance analysis reports for management review.

· Monitor company performance and highlight key financial insights to management.

· Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

· Assist in preparation and submission of tax filings (e.g., SST, corporate tax).

· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards (e.g., MFRS), and internal control policies.

· Oversee and review AP/AR transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

· Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.

· Monitor and manage daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.

· Prepare cash flow projections and reports for management.

· Support implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.

· Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve financial operations.

· Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.

· Review their work to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.

· Maintain and update the General Ledger to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

· Prepare and post monthly journal entries including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments.

· Review and ensure all entries comply with accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS) and company policies.

· Any adhoc tasks will be assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
