About the role

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects in Tuaran, Sabah. This full-time position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the work of construction teams, including tradespeople, labour, and subcontractors.
  2. Monitor site progress and productivity, and report on project status to senior management.
  3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  4. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the construction site.
  5. Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to address questions or concerns.
  6. Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities.
  7. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  4. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  7. Knowledge of construction project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
