Key Responsibilities
  • Handle the full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements, including SST submissions, corporate tax, and audit matters.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.
  • Develop and improve financial policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to assist management in strategic decisions.
  • Supervise and support junior accounting team members when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MIA).
  • Minimum 6-7 years of working experience handling full set of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting practices.
  • High integrity, strong analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak and write in Mandarin will be an added advantage (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking shareholders).
