About the role

As a Tax Senior at ADDVANTAGE CONSULTANCY SERVICES SDN BHD', you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality tax services to our diverse client base. What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting in-depth tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
  2. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including corporate, individual, and indirect tax filings
  3. Providing strategic tax planning advice to clients, helping them optimise their tax position and mitigate risks
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of tax-efficient solutions
  5. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry best practices
  6. Mentoring and training junior team members to develop their tax expertise

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a tax advisory or compliance role, preferably within a reputable professional services firm
  2. Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical, client-facing scenarios
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  4. Proficiency in tax software and data analysis tools
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  6. Proven track record of providing high-quality, value-added tax services to clients
  7. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional tax qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, CTIM) preferred
