Job Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Leadership: define and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for the Commercial Division, ensuring alignment with business priorities and revenue goals.
  • Merchant & Partner Marketing: work with Category Leads to deliver compelling growth and marketing propositions to partners.
  • Consumer Engagement: lead go-to-market campaigns for commercial products and services, driving awareness, adoption, and usage in target segments.
  • Integrated Campaigns: oversee digital, offline, and partnership marketing channels to deliver impactful campaigns that maximize ROI.
  • Data-Driven Insights: leverage analytics to track performance, optimize campaigns, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Team Leadership: build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team that partners effectively with Commercial, Product, and Growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with merchant services, category management, and platform teams to deliver cohesive, impactful narratives.
  • Brand Positioning: strengthen brand presence across key verticals (e.g., retail, eCommerce, mobility, SMEs) and reinforce the beyond payments and beyond Malaysia agenda.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years in marketing, with at least 3 in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven leadership in marketing: ideally within payments, fintech, or eCommerce.
  • Strategic acumen: strong track record of translating business objectives into marketing impact.
  • Commercial mindset: understands merchant ecosystems, user behaviors, and growth levers in digital payments.
  • Data-driven decision-making: able to evaluate campaign effectiveness, drive optimizations, and link marketing outcomes to commercial performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management: experience collaborating across Commercial, Product, Growth, and external partners.
  • Execution excellence: ability to lead large-scale campaigns while ensuring consistency, quality, and ROI.
