ECS Fin is looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to support our expansion efforts in Malaysia and neighbouring ASEAN markets. The ideal candidate will work closely with our regional Sales representative, to drive new business opportunities, build client relationships, and strengthen ECS Fin's presence across the region.

This role involves identifying potential customers, managing business development activities, and supporting sales initiatives for our enterprise software solutions in the financial and payments domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and collaborate with the regional Sales representative in executing business development activities across Malaysia and adjoining countries.
  • Identify and reach out to potential clients through networking, research, and outreach (email, phone, and in-person meetings).
  • Qualify prospects, understand their business needs, and position ECS Fin's software solutions effectively.
  • Coordinate and conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Assist in managing the regional sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progress tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to align regional business strategies.
  • Keep track of competitor activities, market trends, and opportunities in the fintech and enterprise software sectors.
  • Attend industry events in Malaysia and surrounding countries?
  • Prepare reports, updates, and documentation to support business development operations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement roles — preferably in the banking domain or software industry. Experience in the Payments domain would be huge plus.
  • Must be well connected in the banking / financial industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand clients/prospects' requirements.
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities to support regional business initiatives.
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented.
  • Academic background in Business Management / Marketing / Sales / Information Technology preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM 4,000 - RM 6,000 per month
