Role Description
The Business Development Executive – Channel Business role is a full-time position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, generating leads, managing client accounts, and building strong partnerships with channel partners. This position will also focus on maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders and providing strategic support to meet mutual growth objectives and achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Support & Growth
- Assist in executing channel strategies to strengthen Connex Malaysia's partner network.
- Support partner onboarding and help drive overall sales performance.
Partner Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with channel partners.
- Provide partners with product updates, sales support, and basic training when required.
Sales & Coordination
- Assist in proposals, quotations, deal registrations, and partner follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partners receive timely support and solutions.
Market & Insights
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and potential channel opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and generate reports for performance tracking.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience
in business development, channel sales, or a related field (preferably in IT). - Strong communication, relationship-building, and coordination skills.
- Local candidates with experience in the Cybersecurity domain will be preferred.
