Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all QA/QC documentation, records, and reports are properly maintained, organized, and up to date in accordance with company and project requirements.
  • Perform daily site inspections to verify that materials, workmanship, and construction activities comply with project specifications, quality plans, and approved drawings.
  • Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and non-conformances in a timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate and implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) to prevent non-compliance and support sustainable project execution.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality meetings to ensure continual improvement of the project's QA/QC performance. Support the Project Manager in compiling QA/QC documentation for project handover.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Professional Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in construction QA/QC.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Familiar with construction quality standards, site inspection procedures, and documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of EMS implementation and non-conformance management will be an advantage.
  • Possess good analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
