Role Description

As a Preferred Relationship Manager at CIMB, you will build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients in Kuching by understanding their financial needs and delivering tailored banking solutions. You will identify opportunities for cross-selling financial products, manage client portfolios, and ensure an excellent customer service experience. Additionally, you will monitor market trends to provide insights and recommendations that will benefit the clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuching.

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of financial products, investment options, and banking services
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages
  • Proficiency in financial software and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, and meet performance targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field
  • Relevant work experience in banking, finance, or a customer-facing role is preferred
