Role Description

As the Head of Environment, Health, and Safety at Malakoff Corporation Berhad, you will oversee and manage the organization's strategic initiatives to maintain compliance with regulations and ensure workplace power plant safety. Responsibilities include implementing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, leading health & safety audits, conducting risk assessments, and promoting occupational health best practices. This role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Health & Safety, specifically in corporate settings or industrial operations
  • Strong understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in Occupational Health strategies and practices
  • Experience in conducting audits to ensure compliance with EHS policies and standards
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing safety programs and environmental impact mitigation
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree or relevant certification is an advantage
  • Familiarity with sustainability and renewable energy initiatives is a plus
