Job Summary
Receiving / Store Clerk is reporting to Cost Control Manager. The responsibilities include smooth operation flow of the store ensuring adequate stocks, timely and accurate requisitions and issuance. Responsibilities also include monthly physical inventory, reconciliation of stock items and ensure adherence to Food Safety Management System.
Job Responsibilities:
· Receive from receiving department the items purchased and checks them for quality, quantity and other specifications against the invoices before the goods are stored.
· Stores the food purchased in a systematic and well-arranged manner to maximize use of the limited space and practice First in First out (FIFO) system.
· To make sure goods are physically balanced with the Check SCM system.
· Store requisition in the system must be approved by authorized personnel prior to issuance to the requestor and ensure that the latter signs as acknowledge receipt of the items. All requisitions must be posted into the Check SCM system and the requisition must be booked and printed. The printed and signed requisition must be filed.
· Conducts monthly physical inventory count of all items together with cost control /accounts personnel and ensure variances are highlighted, investigated and resolved.
· Ensure adherence to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and highlight any non-adherence to Assistant Manager.
· Prepare store reorder list based on Min & Maximum stock level.
· Perform other jobs that may be assigned to him by supervisor.
Skills & experience:
Qualifications
· Minimum qualification – M.C.E/SPM
· Converse in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Experience
· Experience – At least ½ to 1 year in a similar position
· Experienced in hospitality industry
Skills
· Possess high level of integrity and honest
· Knowledge in computer and accounting background
· Familiar with Microsoft functions
