Job Summary:

The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial reports, analyzing data to support business decisions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in financial reporting, with strong technical proficiency and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information, analysis, and support.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, payables, and other management reporting tasks.
  • Perform other accounting or finance-related ad-hoc tasks as assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Min. 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services (lending sector)."
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) will be an added advantage.
  • Background in audit and reporting is highly desirable
  • Proficient in accounting software (especially SQL) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, analytical, and equipped with strong problem-solving abilities.
